The Verdict:
To put it simply, the Fjord looks absolutely stunning. The sleek, minimalist design is perfect for that style conscious consumer and will fit into any modern home. It even includes a wall bracket out of the box so you can hang it in the perfect place. As for features, the Fjord doesn’t disappoint either, with a range of different connectivity options and simple operation. If you want to turn the device on, simply wave your hand over the top and the proximity sensor kicks in. It’s subtle features like this that make this device so cool. Despite its small stature and unobtrusive speakers, the Fjord actually produces a considerable amount of sound. Music is clear, bass is deep and overall quality was very high. There’s really nothing we can fault with this product. Yes it is quite expensive for such a small device, but when you see and hear the premium quality on show it doesn’t matter. A DAB+ version is also available for $1199.
