The Verdict:
The Nilfisk Extreme is user friendly, easy to assemble and simple to operate. With a height adjustable telescopic tube and remote control buttons on the handle, the Extreme requires minimal effort from the user.
The flexible swivel head easily reaches under beds and furniture, while on-board attachments are useful for cleaning in other tight spaces.
Tested on both carpeted and tiled floors, it offered powerful suction, picking up the finest dust particles caught in tight corners and along skirting boards.
While it cannot truly be described as ‘silent’, the Extreme operated with minimal noise and heat. The capacity of the dust bag was sufficient, remaining less than 1/8 full after vacuuming five untidy rooms.
Changing the dust bag was simple and easy, with absolutely no mess. The only complaint was that the power cord was not long enough to move between large rooms and an extension cord was required.
