The Verdict:

To this day there hasn’t been all that much innovation in the Bluetooth headset category. While the technology keeps getting better, there hasn’t been an overwhelming reason for non-adopters to use the technology.

Plantronics is trying to fix this with the Savour M1100. It has a great looking design, solid audio performance and is very simple to set up, but the best feature is its Vocalyst software.

Vocalyst is a cloud-based service that gives consumers the ability to send and listen to emails, messages and reminders. You can even link your social networking accounts like Twitter and Facebook, to hear messages and post updates.

The range of voice control options also makes it a very safe option when in the car.

Vocalyst is a simple feature that greatly improves the functionality of this Bluetooth headset. While it is a bit of a gimmick, it is hopefully enough to encourage wider adoption among younger consumers.
