The Verdict:
Sonos has always been highly regarded for its wireless music systems, but up until now they have been a bit expensive for many consumers.
At $419, the Play:3 is good value and significantly cheaper than many high-end docking systems currently available.
Set up is easy, simply connect to a wireless router and download the free app from the App Store or Android Market. Now you can use a smartphone/tablet as a remote to access music saved on a network or via online music services.
Driven by three integrated speakers and three dedicated digital amplifiers, it delivers amazing sound reproduction and bass.
The downside of the Play:3 system is that you probably need more than one to get the most out of it, which could end up very costly.
Also make sure you warn customers about excess internet usage if they start streaming high quality music from online services, it can surprisingly use a lot of bandwidth.
