The Verdict:

Style and substance. Great value with a kick-ass sound; TT cannot believe that these headphones are not twice the price.

The style extends from the outside box to the contents inside complete with ‘care’ kit and moulded carry case to protect the earcup design investment.

Strongly built with a steel frame, the headphones come with two sets of premium Kevlar reinforced stereo audio cables plated in 24k gold. One has a three button remote for Apple iPods and Blackberry smartphones while the other plugs into an AV receiver.

The comfortable memory foam fits well around the ears for extended listening while enclosing 50mm dual-diaphragm drivers. These also bring a high degree of respectable sound-cancelling offering up some huge, deep, bass and frequency response of 5Hz-30KHz.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about these lightweight, 280g, well designed cans from Hollywood from the white pearl and gunmetal grey finish, trimmed in black with mirror metal and ostrich-look leather headband.

The V-Moda Crossfade LP offers great audio range, comfort for extended listening and a distinctively slick package. And the bass will knock your head off!
