Although it is already available in the US and Europe, the latest MMO from Bioware and EA, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has finally been given an official release date in Australia.
In what has already become the fastest growing subscription MMO ever, Australian consumers will finally get their hands on the game on March 1.
For those that aren’t up to date with what SWTOR is all about, the massively multiplayer online game is set thousands of years before the classic Star Wars movies and requires players to team up with online friends to fight battles, explore galaxies and complete quests.
“Our biggest priority for The Old Republic has always been to deliver a high quality product and high quality service and we are pleased with our results in North America and Europe,” said the general manager of the BioWare Label’s MMO Business Unit and Co-Founder of BioWare, Dr. Greg Zeschuk.
“We appreciate that our fans in these countries have been patient and we are excited to deliver this same great customer experience to players this March.”
