Don’t deny it, every Star Wars fan at one stage has acted like a Jedi swinging around their imaginary lightsaber and making that familiar vroom vroom noise in their living room. While real lightsabers aren’t likely to be released any time soon (we can still hope though), Kinect Star Wars brings this fantasy one step closer.
We had a play with an early build of Kinect Star Wars late last year and have been eagerly awaiting this release. Well, its finally available in Australia.
Kinect Star Wars lets you take control of a Jedi wielding a lightsaber and using a range of force powers without the need of a controller. The Kinect accessory lets gamers control everything with their movements.
The game also throws in a rage of mini games too based around being a destructive Rancor, driving around in a podracer and dancing.
Coinciding with the release, Microsoft has also released a special limited edition Kinect Star Wars bundle. This includes a 320GB R2-D2 designed console, C-3PO controller, Kinect sensor and game.
Stay tuned for our full review of Kinect Star Wars soon.
