The first gameplay trailer for one of 2012′s biggest blockbuster games has just been released, Assassin’s Creed 3.

Created from the ground-up, the third instalment features a new assassin named Connor and is set in the USA in 1775, during the American Revolution.

The son of a Native American mother and British father, your clan is threatened by a group trying to crush the revolution and take control of the thirteen colonies. It is your responsibility to uphold freedom.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has always had a strong array of weapons available and AC3 introduces some revolutionary new additions to your arsenal. These include tomahawks, rope darts, firearms and bows.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is out on 31 October 2012.
