At The Digital Show in Melbourne recently, Canon Australia announced its latest endeavour to teach consumers how to get the most out of the DSLR camera, the Canon Academy.
The Canon Academy is an education program designed for photographers of all skill levels to help take their photography to the next level. In a series of face-to-face courses and workshops, as well as online courses; the Canon Academy has a range of options available.
Some of the courses on offer include: Introduction to DSLR, Composition and Creative Imaging, On and Off Camera Flash, Photoshop, and Studio Practice. A range of specialist workshops are also available in Architecture, Night Photography, Landscape, Studio, Fasion and Portraiture photograpahy.
“Canon’s World of EOS is designed take people’s photography to the next level through inspiration, creative challenges and skills development at all levels, including the rapidly growing number of first-time DSLR camera users,” said Canon EOS assistant brand manager, Rebecca Pearson.
“Canon Academy is a natural extension of this experience and we are excited to be providing a comprehensive learning opportunity in a range of formats and locations for people of all skill levels – from the complete novice, and upwards.”
To help run the classes, Canon has partnered with URCreative, which is a photography training division of the Creative Institute of Australia.
