The new 16-megapixel E-M5 is the inaugural model in the new Olympus OM-D series of Compact System Cameras. Featuring an integrated 1.44-megapixel digital viewfinder and 16-megapixel LiveMOS image sensor, it is the world’s fastest auto-focusing camera and has the world’s most advanced image stabiliser with five-axis shake compensation, integrated into a weather-proof alloy body.

The Digital viewfinder enables photographers to check the Art Filter effect, colour temperature, and exposure levels in real-time. An eye-level sensor automatically switches Live View between the rear OLED touchscreen and the digital viewfinder. It has Full HD video recording capability with advanced multi-room stabilisation that is near ‘steadicam’ in quality.
