Canon has launched a clever marketing campaign for its range of Pixma printers, partnering with the recent launch of Ice Age 4 at the cinemas to encourage families to print, print, print.
Combining a dedicated advertisement at screenings of the film some clever online presence, Canon is hoping to capture the imaginations of children by offering exclusive Ice Age 4 printables. Certain cinemas even feature a dedicated space for children to colour in, or play games printed from a Pixma printer.
The Pixma Printables website, while free for everyone is offering exclsuive Ice Age 4 content to coincide with the film’s release. While the marketing campaign is exclusive to cinema at the present time, it does offer an interesting approach for potential retail partnerships in the future.
