First look at Samsung’s 75-inch Series 9 Smart TV

Last night Samsung unveiled one of the most impressive televisions in the Australian market, a huge 75-inch LED 3D Smart TV that is bound to turn quite a few heads.

We got hands on with the new TV at the launch event in Sydney last night and were very impressed. Obviously the size is the first thing you notice about the ES9000, but thankfully it still has a great design that doesn’t overtake the room. The slim panel and 7.9mm bezel in particular made this TV look fantastic.

Then there is the picture quality. We got to watch a variety of video clips on the ES9000 including trailers for the new 007 film, Skyfall, and the snowboarding documentary The Art of Flight. While we can’t make a final judgement due to the limited time we had, TT can safely say that the picture quality will blow you away. Images were clear and crisp, motion was smooth and the implementation of 3D on the big screen was great.

There is also an abundance of Smart TV features in the Series 9 ES9000 too. Whether its watching Foxtel on Internet TV, Quickflix or even playing Angry Birds with motion controls, this TV has it all.

The Samsung Series 9 ES9000 LED Smart TV is available in September for $9499.
